Location: Shannxi, China
Project type: Boiler Denitrification SCR
Capacity: 3 x 180 t/hr boilers
Time of completion: April, 2014
In this project, SCR technology has been applied to the denitrification of flue gas of 3×180 t/hr pulverized coal-fired boilers. For each SCR reactor corresponding to each boiler and that’s located between the economizer and the air reheater, plate-type catalyst module has been selected with the 2+1 configuration (two layers of catalyst modules were installed initially, and space has been reserved for the third layer which would be installed after the initial two layers are partially consumed). 99.6% anhydrous ammonia has been selected as denitrification sorbent. It is gasified in the evaporation tank before diluted with make-up air and injected into the flue gas by the ammonia injection grid.
