The article in relation to JET’s technology touches on China’s newly incorporated regulations and improvements in Environmental Technology. Being the world’s largest producer, consumer and importer of coal, China has been criticized historically for its abundance of released air pollutants. As a result, the country has implemented new regulations banning smaller, inefficient power plants and requiring larger plants to include Flue Gas Desulfurization units. China’s action plan also sets technical standards for new and existing coal plants to meet by 2020 for higher power generation efficiency.
