In this denitrification project for 4 x 130t/hr circulating fluidized bed boilers, Integrated SCR+SNCR technology has been applied for boilers #1- #3 and SNCR technology has been applied for boiler #4.
For the SCR units of boilers #1- #3, one SCR reactors have been set up corresponding to each boiler and the installation locates between the upper part and the lower part of the economizer with the embedded layout. For boilers #1- #3, the design denitrification efficiencies are ≥75%, and for boiler #4, where only SNCR is applied, the design denitrification efficiency is ≥60%. 20% aqueous ammonia was selected as denitrification sorbent. It is diluted to 3%-5% before injection.
