On October 31, 2017, Mr. Xu Junsheng, President of Jiangnan Environmental Technology Inc (JET), met with guests from Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce, Mr. David L. Phillips, Chairman of the board, and Ms. Aida Araissi, founder and CEO in the VIP reception room of the company.
Mr. Phillips thanked Mr. Xu for his reception. He said that Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce is committed to promoting bilateral economic development and cooperation between United States and Arabia region which is an important link between US and Arab. Mr. David L. Phillips said JET’s ammonia-based desulfurization technology in sulfur recovery and FCC tail gas treatment has great advantages of low investment and operating costs, no secondary pollution. It can adapt to the most stringent emission standards for petrochemical enterprises in Middle East. The substantial cost saving, enhanced competitiveness which the technology brings is very appealing to these enterprises. As the chairman of Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Phillips is willing to promote this advanced and environmentally friendly technology from JET, and to help with the effective promotion and application of the excellent technology in Middle East Region.
Mr. Xu welcomed Mr. David L. Phillips and Ms. Aida Araissi for their visit. He mentioned that JET is the global leader in ammonia-based desulfurization which is committed to air pollution control. With approximately two hundred projects, JET accumulated rich experience in flue gas desulfurization. Its proprietary technology of flue gas treatment in petrochemical industry has ended the long-term technological monopoly from SCOT and Belco. This revolutionary new technology greatly reduces the investment and operating cost for enterprises, and shows a clear path of future development of flue gas treatment in petrochemical industry. It has great market potential and environmental benefits.
For further bilateral cooperation, Mr. Xu said JET attaches great importance to Middle East market, and is willing to cooperate with local governments, social organizations, and petrochemical enterprises, to promote the application of ammonia-based desulfurization technology in Middle East Region, which is beneficial to both enterprises and society. Both sides conducted friendly consultations and communication on further cooperation afterwards.
After the meeting, Mr. Xu invited Mr. David L. Phillips and Ms. Aida Araissi to visit the sand table of equipment and gallery of JET’s development history.

She has received numerous International business advocacy awards, including twice being honored with the U.S. Commercial Services Award for Excellence in Export Promotion.
