We’re pleased to announce that we have appointed Mr. William “Bill” Dillon as Chief Executive Officer of Jiangnan Environmental Technology (JET Inc.). He has started on May 7th. As the Chief Executive Officer of JET, Bill oversees all activities for JET’s innovative environmental control technologies for utility and industrial applications. He is responsible for implementing JET’s mission of improving the economics of North America’s coal-fired power generating stations by implementing its proven ammonia based scrubbing technology. JET’s global vision is to provide cost-effective solutions that eliminate air pollution, improve living conditions and extend the economic life and jobs involved in the coal-fired generation industry. JET established the first ammonia desulfurization technology research institute in China in 1998 and commercialized the technology in 2004.
Prior to assuming the CEO role at JET, Bill served as Chief Executive Officer for Hamon Corporation and Executive Committee Member for Hamon & Cie from 2010 to 2017. Hamon & Cie is a Belgium based, publicly traded global engineering, construction and technology supplier. In the role of Chief Executive Officer, he was responsible for all financial, operational and commercial performance for Hamon’s Research Cottrell, Custodis, Deltak and Thermal Transfer Corporation Companies. In the role of Executive Committee Member, he worked on developing and implementing Hamon & Cie’s worldwide business strategy.
Prior to Hamon, Bill served in various roles for Foster Wheeler, a five-billion-dollar global engineering, and construction company from 1994 to 2010. In his last role at Foster Wheeler, he was the Chief Operating Officer for its North American Power group. Prior to that, he led their sales and commercial operations.
Bill holds a Bachelor of science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and a master’s degree in business administration from Rutgers University.
