On February 7, 2018, Ms. Luo Jing, President of Jiangnan Environmental Protection Group, and Dr. Sun Fengge, Vice President of the company, held an ammonia technology exchange meeting with Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited in India. The General Manager of Gujarat Electric Power Company, Pratip; Executive Director; Chief Engineer; Power Plant Technicians; and more than 10 people attended the technical exchange meeting.
The technology of ammonia-based desulfurization was introduced in detail at the meeting, and the two sides discussed the concept of the technology of EADS, the safety of ammonia storage and the concept of straight line chimney. Mr. Pratip affirmed the Jiangnan ammonia based desulfurization technology’s high efficiency, economic superiority, no “three wastes” emissions, and flexibility advantages. He also expressed strong interest in the EPC+O cooperation model recommended by the Jiangnan Environmental Protection Group.
At the meeting, Mr. Pratip made it clear that he would focus on the technology of ammonia-based desulfurization in the south of the Yangtze river. He also confirmed the plan to visit Jiangnan Environmental Protection Group to inspect the device.
